Annual Water System Burnout

Dear Valued Water Customers,
Starting today, Neuse Regional Water & Sewer Authority will be conducting it's annual burnout of the water system. This will require Pink Hill's entire water system to be flushed to accomodate the transition from Chloramines to Free Chlorine. This burnout is necessary to eliminate any buildup within the distribution system. Starting later this week, Town staff will begin flushing throughout the water system. During the flushing process, customers may experience discolored water or low pressure. We ask that you please be patient as Town staff works diligently to expedite this process as quickly as possible.
