Fire Department

Pink Hill Volunteer Fire Department was established on February 27, 1950 in response to the growing need for organized fire protection in the area. This foundational meeting, held at the Pink Hill Town Hall, marked the beginning of an initiative rich in community spirit & dedication to public safety.

The inclusion of rescue services in 1984 allowed the department to provide a wider range of emergency responses & the integration of emergency medical services in 1995 further solidified it's role as a comprehensive emergency response agency.

Today, PHVFD operates with a dedicated team of volunteers, providing essential fire, rescue & emergency medical services to Pink Hill & surrounding areas. The department remains committed to maintaining a high level of readiness & community engagement, ensuring an effective response to any emergency.

The history of the Pink Hill Volunteer Fire Department is a testament to the power of community involvement & the importance of volunteerism in safeguarding public health & safety.
